Hunk actor Piolo Pascual shared his excitement with his upcoming television series with royalty princess KC Concepcion.

Pascual, who will be doing the Filipino version of Korean television series “Lovers In Paris,” said he is looking forward to the start of their taping, with some scenes to be shot in Paris, France.

“Kapag pinag-uusapan namin ‘yong Paris, right away nag-go-glow talaga ang eyes niya (KC). Kasi she’d been there for five years and I’m just so excited to see the places,” the actor said.

Pascual also shared that Concepcion promised him that she will tour him around the city.

“Sa school niya, sa favorite park niya, kung saan siya nag-stay. And she is going to bring me to a café na paborito niya. I’m excited because this is something different,” Pascual said.

The actor said that the project will give him and Concepcion an opportunity to get to know each other better.

In his previous interviews, Pascual admitted that he courted the actress but he had to stop when she flew to Paris in order to study.

For the first time, Cosmopolitan Magazine (Philippines) will have a “couple” in the cover.

This February, 2009, Cosmopolitan Mag has loveteam partners Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual on its cover, who are fresh from the success of their movie ‘Love Me Again (Land Down Under).

It’s actually a double cover. Angel Locsin in the front cover and Angel plus Piolo at the back cover.

In the mag, Angel shares some scoops about all of his leading men such as Richard Gutierrez, Piolo Pascual and Dennis Trillo.

While Piolo will share about his search for his soul mate and get to know his mystery girl.

Piolo Pascual is still the favorite leading man among local female stars including Marian Rivera, one of the country’s hottest actresses today.

“Artista ako hindi ako pwedeng tumanggi sa kahit  sinong gustong i-partner sa akin kaya lang may contract siya sa kabila (ABS-CBN), ako kay [Mother Lily of Regal Films]. Pero if ever, bakit hindi?” Rivera said.

Rivera and Pascual have been formally introduced last year but they never had the chance to see each other again because of work.

Rivera said she heard good stories about him especially from their common friend, director Joyce Bernal.

For his part, Pascual said he also hopes to work with Rivera.

“[Pero] mangyayari lang yan kapag pumayag ang mga boss namin. Ang mga manager namin,” the actor said.

Piolo Pascual has already admitted that he attempted to court KC Concepcion before she went to Paristo finish her studies years ago. For now, the 23-year-old actress prefers to keep mum about it though since talking about their romantic past may only lead people to think that it’s just a publicity stunt for their upcoming soap, Lovers in Paris. “If ever privatena lang yun. Ayoko rin kasing masabi ng tao na kinukwento namin yung mga bagay-bagay kasi may teleserye kami. It’s something personal and it’s something sana na real, if mangyari. So for now [I want to keep it] private,” she said in an interview with Showbiz News Ngayon.

But it seems that the country’s ultimate heartthrob is sincere about his intentions for KC as he proudly acknowledged her during the Pop Icons Concert at the Araneta Coliseum last Saturday, February 21. In one of the highlights of the show, Pop Icons Sam Milby, Erik Santos, Christian Bautista, and Mark Bautista reminisced about the girls they had loved before. When Piolo’s turn came, however, the audience was shocked to see KC’s photo being shown on the wide screen since not everyone was aware that they were once an item. “Matanong ko lang sa inyo ha, sa lahat ng lumabas dun, nandito ba? Anong magagawa ko, nandito si Ms. KC Concepcion,” he stressed to his fellow singers and the screaming crowd. He then capped it off with a very romantic song “Nandito Ako” dedicated to the beautiful actress.

The whole thing came as a big surprise to KC whose coy reaction was caught on camera at that time. ABS-CBN.com caught up with her backstage after the event to get answers straight from her. “Nagulat ako kasi nanahimik lang ako sa audience tapos biglang nandun ako sa screen. Pero nakaka-proud po silang limatalaga,” said KC who was overwhelmed with Piolo’s candidness. When prodded about his rumored courtship of her, KC simply reiterated her the statement she made on The Buzz several weeks ago. “Anything is possible and I still keep my stand. May the best man win.”

There is no doubt that the dashing actor possesses most of the qualities that women look for in a guy. As it happens, KC is open to the possibility that her friendship with Piolo could turn into romance if given the chance. “Hindi po siya mahirap mahalin,” she grinned. But more than anything else, she is particularly fond of Piolo’s genuine concern not only towards her in particular, but even to the people around him. “Mabait siya and gentleman na gentleman. Lalaking-lalaki… Kumbaga masyado siyang maalaga at talagang nirerespeto niya ang mga babae,” she went to describe the actor.

The two are scheduled to fly to Paris in April to shoot some of the scenes for their first project together. KC knows that she will definitely enjoy the whole trip just like Piolo. “Of course, of course, I am excited. I trust PJ to take care of me and hawak-kamay kami dun, kaming dalawa lang ang magkasama dun eh,” she exclaimed. Does the beginning of their soap also mean that she will forget about her former leading man Richard Gutierrez? “No, siyempre special naman po si Chard [para sa akin]. Pero right now ang focus ko po si Piolo. Siya yung priority ko ngayon,” she frankly stated.

Hunk actor Piolo Pascual finally revealed that he had a past relationship with showbiz royalty KC Concepcion.

Pascual admitted his special past with the actress-singer during the story conference of their first television series together, the local adaptation of the Korean TV drama series “Lovers in Paris.”

In an interview with SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon” last Monday, Pascual said “yes,” when asked if had courted Sharon Cuneta’s eldest daughter.

On the same SNN episode, Concepcion revealed that her budding romantic affair with Pascual was cut short when she decided to finish her studies in Paris.

“Yung pag-alis ko kasi, hindi ko kinwento sa ibang tao kaya nagulat siya ng bigla akong nawalang parang bula,” the actress said.

Asked if there’s a possibility of rekindling the special relationship they had in the past, Concepcion replied: “If ever, private na lang ‘yon kasi ayaw kong masabi ng tao na kinukuwento namin ‘yung mga bagy-bagay kasi may teleserye kami. [It's] something personal, and it’s something sana real–if mangyari. So for now, private lang.”

With their “Lovers in Paris” project and their special past, Pascual and Concepcion were one in saying that they are really enjoying each other’s company, and they are happy together.

“We can be happier,” Pascual said.
