Piolo Pascual will have a new love team in 2009. After the success of his pairing with Angel Locsin, he will now be teamed up with the mega-daughter KC Concepcion.
Piolo and KC will start taping the Philippine version of the hit koreanovela “Lovers in Paris.” Piolo will play the role of Carlo while KC will play the role of Vivian.
Lovers in Paris is a successful Korean drama series broadcast by SBS in the summer of 2004. The show won the prize for best television drama in the Baeksang Art Awards, held on May 20, 2005. The show was the first of three romantic dramas set in Europe. The second drama is Lovers in Prague. The third, and last one is simply titled Lovers.
Lovers in Paris is one of the most successful tv series in Korea with a record of 51.8% peak rating. It was also a hit in the Philippines when it was shown on ABS-CBN in 2006.
Aside from the said television series, the new love team will also do a movie together.
“Hopefully a movie before ipalabas iyong soap, but of course sa January ipapalabas muna ang movie namin ni Angel (Locsin) and come February or March naman ay ipapalabas iyong independent movie ko na ‘Manila,’” Piolo said.
cant wait lovers in paris,sana umpisahan na nila,ang ganda ng korean series na ito,at gusto kong makita kung matatapatan nila ang galing ni park shin yang at kim eun jung.

I LOVE “LOVERS IN PARIS” super ganda ng kwento and for me it is the breakthrough of Koreanovela’s here in Pinas. Even hindi iyon ang kaunaunahang Koreanovela na naipalabas dito eh iyon naman ang “TUNAY” na nagpasikat ng mga Koreanovelas at iyon marami ng sumunod….
I think Piolo is so fitting to the role of Carlo kasi reserve siya, very intellectual ang appearance at parehong GUWAPO.
I hope before na si Toni ang Vivians since they are both chinitas and makulit. But to learn na si KC pala, well siyempre welcome din siya.
I just hope maganda ang pagdirehe ng soap kasi maganda talaga yung kwento. Go papa P, iloveyousomuch!!!!!!
Question po. nalilito lang talaga ako. kasi i heard Angel Locsin saying that she’ll be doing the Lovers in Paris. Tapos it turned out ung Only You pala ang kay Angel. Sa Multiply page ni Angel at Sam sinabi din nila ung about Lovers in Paris. I have nothing against Piolo and KC doing it, sobrang go!:) pero nalilito lang po talaga ako. thanks!:)

hindi pa time para tapusin ang piolo and angel love team. hindi cla nakakasawang panoorin may chemistry ang dalawa.. bagay na bagay cla, kesa kc and piolo. walang dating… walang kilig….
